La Jolla High School is an award-winning public high school for grades 9-12 dedicated to creating exceptional education experiences that support the highest level of college and career readiness.
LJHS works to create and sustain a diverse, equitable and inclusive learning community that fosters an understanding of one's place and responsibility in the global community. We strive to encourage tolerance, respect and understanding of all cultures, religions and economic backgrounds, and provide equal access to all educational opportunities and activities for students.
The campus is on over 14 acres and provides a newly renovated state of the art learning environment, including new lab classrooms, science buildings, robotics lab, and recreational facilities. It features an aquatic center with an Olympic size pool, athletics stadium, two gyms, practice fields, tennis courts, library/media center, cafeteria and 40 seat auditorium.
